Amy’s Kitchen has initiated a voluntary Class I recall of Lot 60J0421 of the Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze as it may have trace amounts of milk. The milk is not declared on the product label. Consumers who have an allergy or sensitivity to milk  should not eat Lot 60J0421 of the Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze to avoid the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. 

  
This recall only involves Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze containing the following “Best By” date, UPC and Lot Code: Vegan Organic Mac & Cheeze, Best Before 10/2023, UPC: 42272-00043, Lot Code: 60J042, Size: 8 Ounce.

Amy’s is working to ensure that any remaining inventory of the impacted lot of the Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze is removed from distribution. No other Amy’s Kitchen products are impacted.

Consumers should check their home freezers for the Vegan Organic Rice Mac & Cheeze with Lot Code 60J0421, and discard or return the affected product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

The for the affected lot is: UPC 36800-40611, and is packaged in 9.9-oz. cartons which have a Best By date of APR 09 22 N2 (UPC# 36800-40611). Consumers are requested to return the product to the store for a full refund or discard it.

Ground Coriander Recall, Salmonella Contamination

Olde Thompson LLC. Oxnard, CA in cooperation with the FDA has recalled Olde Thompson and Sun Harvest Organic Ground Coriander, due to possible contamination by Salmonella. Sold in 1.5oz glass jars with flip top closure, the Lot numbers are # 23632 and 23631. 

The bacterium was discovered during routine sampling of raw materials.
Do not consume this product and dispose of the recalled product and its container.

Olde Thompson Organic Ground Coriander 1.5oz. in glass jar with flip-top lid.

Beech-Nut Single Grain Rice Cereal Recalled

Beech-Nut Nutrition issued a voluntary recall of one lot of Beech-Nut Stage 1, Single Grain Rice Cereal. During a routine sampling program by the State of Alaska, samples from a production lot of Beech-Nut Stage 1, Single Grain Rice Cereal tested above the guidance level for naturally occurring inorganic arsenic set by the FDA in August 2020. 

According to the FDA, trace elements such as arsenic are present in the environment, including water, soil and food, and has noted that exposure to higher levels of naturally occurring inorganic arsenic pose a health hazard to young children.

The recall Beech-Nut Single Grain Rice item (UPC Code# 52200034705) has an expiry date of 01 MAY 2022. The product codes for this item are: 103470XXXX and 093470XXXX. These are located at the bottom of the Beech-Nut Single Rice Cereal canister and they were distributed nationally via retail and online sales.

Consumers who purchased Beech-Nut Rice Cereal with above product codes and expiry date should discard this product. Kindly refer contact details below for further information or refund.

Tulkoff Food Products Inc. (Baltimore, Maryland) has recalled Kimchi Aioli due to the presence of undeclared wheat and soy allergens. The Aioli was sold in 18 fl. oz. squeeze bottles with lot code 09.18.2021M 

This Kimchi Aioli was distributed on the East coast through US Foods, Pastores, and Restaurant Depot between March 22, 2021, and June 6th, 2021. Affected states are Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virgina.

The product is sold in a clear plastic squeeze 18 fl. oz. bottle. The front label says Kimchi Aioli, and the back label says Jalapeno Aioli. The Best used by Date is 09.18.2021M.

Guan's Mushroom Company has recalled all cases of its 200g / 7.05oz packages of Enoki Mushrooms (Product of China). The mushrooms might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

The recalled products were distributed in CA, NY, PA through produce distributors / wholesalers to retail stores nationwide. They come in a 200g/7.05ounces, clear plastic package with the description “Enoki Mushroom” in English, Korean and French, and Guan’s logo in the front. Whole Foods Market has voluntarily recalling select Macaroni & Cheese products from stores in five states because they contain undeclared egg. People with egg allergy or egg sensitivity run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

These products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. They were sold in plastic containers and in family-style meal kits with Whole Foods Market labels in the prepared foods department.
