Whole Foods Recall | Undeclared Egg in Mac N Cheese | FDA Alerts

Whole Foods Market has voluntarily recalling select Macaroni & Cheese products from stores in five states because they contain undeclared egg. People with egg allergy or egg sensitivity run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.


These products were sold at Whole Foods Market stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C. They were sold in plastic containers and in family-style meal kits with Whole Foods Market labels in the prepared foods department. All affected product has been removed from store shelves. No allergic reactions have been reported to date. Customers who purchased this product at Whole Foods Market can bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund. Consumers with additional questions can callbetween the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday, or 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.

Jelly Cup Recall | FDA Alerts

HADSON (TOKO) TRADING CO., INC. OF MASPETH, NY is recalling its 28.2oz (800g) bags of EISHINDO MINI CUP JELLY (50 pcs). The product may be a potential choking hazard due to its size. 

The recalled jelly cups were distributed nationwide in retail food stores. They are sold in large clear bags of 50 jelly cups. The UPC code is, “4970481000034,” Product code is, “E007.”

No incidents of consumers choking have been reported to date in connection with this product.

Consumers who have purchased this product are urged to return it to the store where they were purchased it from for a full refund. If they choose to throw them  away - do so in a sealed package inside a secure garbage can with a tight fitting lid.

Spice Hunter Recall | FDA Alerts

Sauer Brands, Inc. has voluntarily recalled some The Spice Hunter Products. The reason is potential presence of Salmonella. The recall includes amongst several products cilantro, organic parsley, dill weed, and black peppercorns. These products come in clear glass jars marked with lot codes 20217C, 20220C, 20269C and 20270C on the white field on the label. The Spice Hunter Products in question were distributed to the states of Alaska, Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.
