Chipotle has a "buy one, get one free" deal on entrees purchased in restaurant on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 3PM to closing at participating US locations.

To take advantage of this deal, you will need to say "Friends BOGO" at the register.

The promotion supports the White House's ongoing efforts to get more Americans vaccinated (though you don't need to be vaccinated to get the deal).

Dunkin' is testing two new brews in selected areas! If you happen to live in Albany, NY, Charlotte, NC, Springfield, MA, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and West Palm Beach, Fl, you are in luck. You can try out the New ElectroBrew and Kombucha Beverages in select stores in the city.

ElectroBrew is Cold Brew coffee infused with coconut water for " a subtly sweet taste and burst of electrolytes" with no added sugar. 

Dunkin's Kombucha is a fermented tea in two flavors: Fuji Apple Berry and Blueberry Lemon.

New Syrups from Torani

Torani has unveiled three new syrup flavors. These are Puremade Black Sugar Syrup, Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce and Puremade Mangonada Syrup.

According to Torani, the Puremade Black Sugar Syrup is inspired by kokuto, a dark brown natural cane sugar. Also called "black sugar" for its dark color, this sugar is a specialty of Okinawa, Japan. The syrup features a "caramelized flavor with hints of molasses." This is a popular addition to many boba tea or bubble tea types of drinks.

New Torani Puremade Chocolate Hazelnut Sauce is "nut allergen-free" and has a " rich, chocolatey, and nutty" flavor. 

The Torani Puremade Mangonada Syrup is a sweet, sour, salty, and spicy blend of mango, chamoy, and Tajín chile-lime powder. Torani says that this syrup was inspired by mangonada, a slushy ice drink made with these ingredients.

Torani's Puremade line of syrups and sauces do not contain GMOs, artificial ingredients, flavors, colors, or preservatives.

NEW Chobani Zero Sugar

Chobani has removed the sugar from milk to make new Chobani Zero Sugar range. Chobani Zero Sugar is made with milk that is filtered to reduced naturally occurring sugars. They say any remaining sugar is used up by yogurt cultures during fermentation. 

But yes, Chobani Zero Sugar is sweet. How you ask? They then add natural, non-GMO sweeteners that include monk fruit and allulose.

The result: a dairy but not yogurt product is lactose-free, provides protein (11 grams), and contains live and active cultures, including probiotics.

Chobani Zero Sugar comes in flavors like Vanilla, Mixed Berry, Strawberry, and Blueberry.

Two New Custard Flavors at Culver's!!

Culver's welcomes two new varieties of frozen custard to their "Flavor of the Day" selection. If you are lucky enough to live in a state that offers these frozen custard varieties, I suggest making a beeline for this treat!!  The new flavors for the frozen custards are Salted Caramel Pecan Pie and Strawberry Chocolate Parfait.

Salted Caramel Pecan Pie was introduced on June 10, 2021. It features vanilla frozen custard with butter cake pieces, toasted pecans, and salted caramel.

Olde Thompson LLC. Oxnard, CA in cooperation with the FDA has recalled Olde Thompson and Sun Harvest Organic Ground Coriander, due to possible contamination by Salmonella. Sold in 1.5oz glass jars with flip top closure, the Lot numbers are # 23632 and 23631. 

The bacterium was discovered during routine sampling of raw materials.
Do not consume this product and dispose of the recalled product and its container.

New Summer Flavors from Lay's

Lay's brings three new and limited-edition Potato Chip flavors to the stores this summer. They are Chile Mango, Wavy Jerk Chicken, and Summer BLT varieties.

The Chile Mango combines the flavor of mango with the heat of chile peppers. The Jerk Chicken is "traditional spicy, sweet, and smoky jerk flavor" on a Wavy potato chip. Summer BLT is a sandwich in a chip! With lettuce, tomato, and bacon flavors, it's a treat for BLT lovers!!

Beech-Nut Single Grain Rice Cereal Recalled

Beech-Nut Nutrition issued a voluntary recall of one lot of Beech-Nut Stage 1, Single Grain Rice Cereal. During a routine sampling program by the State of Alaska, samples from a production lot of Beech-Nut Stage 1, Single Grain Rice Cereal tested above the guidance level for naturally occurring inorganic arsenic set by the FDA in August 2020. 

According to the FDA, trace elements such as arsenic are present in the environment, including water, soil and food, and has noted that exposure to higher levels of naturally occurring inorganic arsenic pose a health hazard to young children.

The recall Beech-Nut Single Grain Rice item (UPC Code# 52200034705) has an expiry date of 01 MAY 2022. The product codes for this item are: 103470XXXX and 093470XXXX. These are located at the bottom of the Beech-Nut Single Rice Cereal canister and they were distributed nationally via retail and online sales.

Consumers who purchased Beech-Nut Rice Cereal with above product codes and expiry date should discard this product. Kindly refer contact details below for further information or refund.

Tulkoff Food Products Inc. (Baltimore, Maryland) has recalled Kimchi Aioli due to the presence of undeclared wheat and soy allergens. The Aioli was sold in 18 fl. oz. squeeze bottles with lot code 09.18.2021M 

This Kimchi Aioli was distributed on the East coast through US Foods, Pastores, and Restaurant Depot between March 22, 2021, and June 6th, 2021. Affected states are Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virgina.

Guan's Mushroom Company has recalled all cases of its 200g / 7.05oz packages of Enoki Mushrooms (Product of China). The mushrooms might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

The recalled products were distributed in CA, NY, PA through produce distributors / wholesalers to retail stores nationwide. They come in a 200g/7.05ounces, clear plastic package with the description “Enoki Mushroom” in English, Korean and French, and Guan’s logo in the front.
